Theme Press Release: Parisian Nights (A/W ’09)

On a moonlit winter night in Paris, the Eiffel Tower’s lights shimmer as the city comes to life in holiday celebration. The streets of the most fashionable quartiers fill with crowds on their way to glamorous parties where champagne flows freely and exquisite hors d’oeuvres tempt the crowd. A night of dancing and romance is sure to follow. Here, style is everything, and everyone strives to create the perfect look. The right dress to flatter the figure, the right accessories to catch the eye and, naturally, the right shoes to give it all a sophisticated, pulled-together look. And for the woman who wants it all – high style that wows and comfort that lets her dance all night without giving her feet a second thought – the black ECCO® Gisborne and ECCO® City Coventry are perfect matches. If the outfit calls for a pump, the Gisborne’s high, ankle-accentuating arch, flattering cut and smart buckle add instant glamour. And the City Coventry bootie, with its luscious velvety look, perfectly pointed toe and shapely heel embodies French elegance and simplicity and is ideal when the look calls for slightly more coverage. With high-class design and signature ECCO® comfort, women can confidently step out into the festive night.

Back-to-school shopping is tricky business! At least there’s one relief from the long lists of school gear: the great style and total support you’ll get from ECCO’s Fall 2009 Back to School line. As fun, smart and individual as the child wearing them, ECCO’s shoes and backpacks are constructed to please parents (after all, nothing else on earth is this comfortable) – and designed to charm kids (two thumbs up for cool, trend-savvy shapes and shades!).

Get kids in the zone

ECCO’s new lace-up, ankle-high leather sneakers let kids bring a bit of summer freedom back to school. Designed cracked leather uppers give the ECCO Summerzone a school-appropriate look, while the naturally soft, lightweight and breathable materials guarantee supreme comfort and support for all adventures, indoors and out. The removable leather inlay sole with the ECCO Comfort Fibre System and the moisture-absorbent circulation system ensure a cool, hygienic climate all day long. And the direct-injected, two-component sole (with PU midsole and TPU outsole) gives flexibility and an excellent grip on wet and slippery surfaces.

The take-me-everywhere Hamburg Tote

Over the shoulder, across your chest, or in your hand, the ECCO® Hamburg Tote is a timeless wardrobe piece you’ll want to bring along everywhere you go. A combination of shiny and matte premium PU gives the Hamburg its trendy edge. On the inside, the tote features a 50% water repellent Baby Ottoman lining (polyester nylon/cotton mix) and a compartment with cell phone, open and zip pockets, and key ring strap to keep you organized. Best of all, the Hamburg’s hardware detailing matches a broad range of shoe from the formal range, so you’ll have no trouble staying totally coordinated.
